Server Rules

Section A: General Rules

    English Only

    Other languages may result in a kick or ban.

  2. 2

    No Impersonation

    Do not impersonate other players, staff members, or clans.

  3. 3

    No Unrelated Advertising

    Only server-related links (forums, Discord, Fudgy's YT) are allowed.

  4. 4

    No Mingery or Trolling

    Join with the intention to roleplay seriously.

  5. 5

    No Discrimination

    Racism, homophobia, sexism, etc., are not tolerated.

  6. 6

    No Spam or Arguing in Adverts/OOC

    Keep global communications respectful and on-topic.

  7. 7

    Report Exploits

    If you find a glitch or exploit, report it instead of abusing it.

  8. 8

    No Prop Abuse

    Includes prop climbing, surfing, killing, or spamming.

  9. 9

    No Real World Trading

    Trading in-game currency/items for real-world value results in permanent ban.

  10. 10

    No Mic Spam

    Hobos may play music at appropriate levels in one area. Ear rape is not allowed.

  11. 11

    No Rule Breaking Retaliation

    Do not break rules to respond to other rule breakers. (e.g. No revenge RDM).

  12. 12

    RDM (Random Deathmatch)

    Killing without valid RP reason is a serious offense.

  13. 13

    Kidnap RP

    If kidnapped, you must comply while inside the kidnapper's base.

  14. 14

    No Scamming

    Scamming players is considered FailRP.

  15. 15

    No Baiting

    Don’t show off illegal items to provoke raids or police action.

  16. 16

    No Metagaming

    Do not use out-of-character knowledge in-character (e.g., dead players can't inform others).

  17. 17

    Advert Warnings

    Warn players via advert with at least 3 seconds to comply before taking action.

  18. 18

    No Generator Destruction to Avoid Raids

    Destroying raidables to avoid losses is not allowed.

  19. 19

    Keypads and Buttons Must Be Usable

    During raids, you must allow access or it's considered FDA.

  20. 20

    Building Permissions

    Only the Casino Manager can build in the casino; same for Hotel Manager in the hotel.

  21. 21

    Purchase at Your Own Risk

    Staff aren’t responsible if someone leaves after selling raidables. Scamming is still disallowed.

    Bank and PD Lobby Access

    These lobbies must remain open and accessible. No permission is required.

    No Job Selling

    You may not advertise or sell your job (e.g., "/advert selling bitcoin miner 300k").

    Knives Are Legal

    Unless stated otherwise by the mayor.

    Gun License Enforcement

    Cops can arrest if you have a gun out without a license, unless mayor laws say otherwise.

    Safe Duels

    Duel away from populated areas. NLR applies if you die in a duel.

    Countering & Friend Defense

    Allowed if the job supports it and you're in same base or gang. Must be adverted.

    No Multi-Logging

    Only one account per player is allowed at a time. No farming with alts.

  29. 29

    Use Common Sense

    Do not try to loophole or work around the rules. Be respectful and logical.

Section B: Raiding/Crime Rules

    Crime Role Restrictions

    Only 'The Bad' and Gangsters may commit crimes.

  2. 2

    Raid Duration Limit

    A raid may only last 10 minutes.

  3. 3

    No KOS by Proximity

    When raiding, you can't kill everyone nearby. (KOS if near is not allowed)

  4. 4

    Leaving Mid-Raid

    Leaving mid raid or kidnap will result in a staff warning.

  5. 5

    No Tools During Raids

    No props, toolgun, physgun, or gravgun use while raiding or being raided.

  6. 6

    Raid Cooldown

    Wait 10 minutes before raiding again, or 25 minutes if raiding the same base.

  7. 7

    Kidnap Cooldown

    You may only kidnap once every 10 minutes.

  8. 8

    Building Sign Protection

    Don't raid a base with a building sign. (Hitmen may still perform hits.)

  9. 9

    End of Raid on Team Death

    If all raiders die before the 10 minutes end, the raid is over.

  10. 10

    Returning After Death or Arrest

    Raiders may return after 3 minutes if teammates are still raiding. Defenders may return after 3 minutes.

    Police Threats During Raids

    You may attack police officers within 15m of your raid if they pose a visible threat.

    “Raid Freely” Bases

    If a base advertises “raid freely” on a KOS sign/textscreen, you may raid regardless of cooldown. NLR still applies.

  13. 13

    False Raids Due to Rule Breaks

    If defenders break rules that cause your raid to fail, make a ticket. If staff agrees, you may /advert false and include the staff name.

Section C: New Life Rule (NLR)

  1. 1

    Simple Definition

    Don’t return to where you died for 3 minutes.

  2. 2

    Proper Definition

    Upon death, you become a new person with no memory or grudges from your past life.

  3. 3

    Follow the Simple Rule

    To avoid issues, just follow the simple 3-minute rule—it’s what most players expect.

  4. 4

    Example: Dying from a Hitman

    If killed by a hitman in the street, you may return, but don’t interfere with the hitman.

  5. 5

    Example: Dying in a Common Area

    Returning to common areas like the fountain is okay if you follow the proper NLR behavior.

  6. 6

    Example: Dying from RDM

    You can return, but if the situation is unclear, take a sit before acting on it.

  7. 7

    Example: Dying in a Raid

    If you die during a raid, wait at least 3 minutes to return—unless the raid ends because all raiders are dead.

  8. 8

    Example: Waiting Outside a Raid

    Don’t wait outside the base to re-enter as soon as 3 minutes pass. That’s not okay.

  9. 9

    Example: Cops Camping After NLR

    If you die in a bank or PD raid, don’t wait where criminals will pass through. That’s NLR abuse.

  10. 10

    Example: Switching to PD After Death

    Becoming a cop just to raid the person who killed you is a serious NLR violation.

  11. 11

    Handling Suspected NLR Breaks

    If someone breaks NLR, don't RDM. Get a staff member and evidence like screenshots. That said, if they’re actively breaking a rule (e.g., returning to a raid), you may have valid reason to engage.

Section E: The Good Rules

  1. 1

    Police Chain of Command

    The Chief of Police is in charge of the SWAT and other officers.

  2. 2

    No Criminal Assistance

    Police are not allowed to assist with any type of crime.

  3. 3

    Law Enforcement

    You must enforce the mayor's laws unless they are deemed fail laws.

  4. 4

    Responding to Crimes

    If you see a crime, you must respond to it accordingly.

  5. 5

    Police Raid Duration

    Police raids (warrants) may last up to 15 minutes.

  6. 6

    No Baiting for Raids

    You are not allowed to bait to start a raid, such as trespassing on a base.

  7. 7

    PD Access Restrictions

    PD members (except the mayor) cannot let non-PD members beyond the 2nd doors without an escort.

  8. 8

    Storage of Printers and Ticket Gens

    The Good may own them, but they must be stored in the Bank vault.

  9. 9

    Valid Battering Ram Use

    You must have a valid reason to use your battering ram.

  10. 10

    Arresting in Spawn

    Do not arrest players in spawn unless they are killing or kidnapping someone. Do not arrest for having weapons out in spawn.

  11. 11

    Building Permissions in PD

    Police cannot build in PD without the mayor's permission.

  12. 12

    Warrant Validation

    Do not issue warrants based solely on witness information; it must be confirmed first.

  13. 13

    Valid Use of Stunstick

    Police are not allowed to use the stunstick without a valid reason.

  14. 14

    Printer Protection in Vault

    Do not destroy printers in the bank vault; they are legal there.

Section F: Mayor Rules

  1. 1

    No Law Enforcement

    As mayor you are not allowed to enforce laws.

  2. 2

    No Laws Against Server Rules

    Do not add laws that counter rules. You also can't order PD to RDA.

  3. 3

    No MRDA/MRDM Laws

    You may not add laws that cause MRDA or MRDM situations, such as but not limited to:
    – Jaywalking is AOS/KOS
    – Speaking is AOS/KOS
    – Walking/Running is AOS/KOS

  4. 4

    Default Laws Cannot Be Overruled

    Mayor may not overrule the default laws.

  5. 5

    Controlled PD Access

    If the mayor allows people into the PD, it cannot be a blanket statement like “PD is open to all.” They also may not let people in who are clearly trying to raid the vault. (Corruption is considered FailRP)

  6. 6

    Jetpack Law Specifics

    You may not have a law stating “Jetpacks equipped is KOS/AOS.” Only “Using jetpacks is KOS/AOS” is allowed.

  7. 7

    Mayor Must Base in PD

    Mayor is not allowed to base outside the PD.

  8. 8

    Gun License Clause Required

    If you have a law such as “Guns out KOS/AOS” that disregards gun licenses, at least one of your laws must clarify that (e.g., “Gun Licenses Ignored”).

    Mayor is Demotable

    Mayor can be demoted for any reason. (It will always boil down to people not liking your laws.)

  10. 10

    No Targeted Laws

    You may not have a law that targets a specific player or job (e.g., “Chefs don’t need to follow Law 4”).

Section G: Building Rules

  1. 1

    No Prop Blocking

    You may block entrances to your base as long as you leave at least one unblocked.

  2. 2

    Building Approval & Staff Intervention

    Building no longer needs approval; however, if staff intervene, you must adjust/remove the base. You may build on sidewalks, streets, on top of buildings, or in tunnels connecting parts of the map.

  3. 3

    Fading/Moving Doors Limit

    Only 5 fading/moving doors are allowed. Shooting holes do not count towards this amount.

  4. 4

    Fading Door Tool Usage

    The fading door tool is for doors, not for bridges or other builds used to keep people out of your base.

  5. 5

    Building Sign Required

    Place a building sign when building to prevent raids.

  6. 6

    No Raidables While Building

    You may not have raidables (printers, generators, weed plants, etc.) while building.

  7. 7

    Entrance Through Public or Owned Land

    There must be an entrance to your base that passes through public land or land you own.

  8. 8

    Doors Purchased for Own Building Only

    You may only buy doors to your own building.

  9. 9

    No Hidden Raidables

    Raidables can't be hidden in props to stop others from getting to them.

  10. 10

    KOS Signs Visibility

    KOS signs must be clearly visible from outside (font size 40+ and a reasonable color).

  11. 11

    No Building in Jail Cells Without Permission

    Do not build in jail cells unless you have mayor permission to decorate, and you must not block prisoners from leaving if the door is open.

  12. 12

    No KOS Lines in Town Center or Spawn

    You cannot place KOS lines on the pavement in the middle of town (main street) or in the spawn area.

  13. 13

    KOS Sign Invalid With Building Sign

    Your KOS sign is not valid if you also have a building sign.

  14. 14

    No No-Collided Props Except Decoration

    You may not use no-collided props except for decoration.

  15. 15

    Adequate Space Between Fading Doors

    Have adequate space between fading doors to prevent people from getting stuck while lockpicking, ramming, hacking, or destroying the next door.

  16. 16

    No Pixel Perfect Entrances

    Pixel perfect entrances/walkways are not allowed; they must be easily accessible.

  17. 17

    Standing/Moving Space Between Fading Doors

    Have enough standing/moving space between fading doors to allow people to protect themselves (able to fit 2 people between segments without getting stuck).

  18. 18

    One-Way Props Restrictions

    You can have one-way props, but you cannot use them to shoot at raiders in any way, including spraying through walls that are not one-wayed.

  19. 19

    Blindfire Allowed, Assisted Blindfire Not

    Blindfire is allowed, but you cannot use assisted blindfire (e.g., having a visible view next to the prop you fire through).

  20. 20

    No Building During Raids

    Do not build during a raid or while getting raided.

  21. 21

    Shooting Holes Visibility

    Shooting holes must show head and torso (e.g., Cube05x05x05).

  22. 22

    No Underwater Basing

    No basing under water.

  23. 23

    No Disorienting Materials

    Your base may not have materials meant to disorient players (debugwhite, debugblack, etc). These can be used for decoration but may not be disorienting.

    Visibility of Props

    Do not use invisible or hard-to-see materials/colors. The lowest allowed transparency is 110, except where it’s obvious a prop is there.

  25. 25

    Keypads on Fading Doors

    Every fading/moving door must have a keypad on both sides, clearly visible.

    Optional “Raid Freely” Notice

    If you are okay with being raided continually, put “raid freely” on your KOS sign or textscreen.

  27. 27

    Elevator Usage

    You cannot use elevators as the only entrance to a base.

  28. 28

    Fading Door Lockpickability

    Fading doors must be easily lockpickable (use something big enough, like an actual door).

    Bank Use Restrictions

    The bank cannot be used as a general base. Only good jobs can base here with the banker (e.g., Security Guard, Bitcoin Miner).

Banned Bases

  1. 1

    Kill Boxes

    These are boxes or rooms that are unclear where to get to and are used solely for killing raiders.

  2. 2

    Color / Blackout Rooms

    Rooms where you can't tell where you're looking are not allowed.

  3. 3

    Crouch Bases

    Bases where crouching is required to navigate.

  4. 4

    Jump / Parkour Bases

    Bases requiring jumping from platform to platform to reach your fading door or keypad.

  5. 5

    Jetpack Bases

    Bases only accessible by using a jetpack.

  6. 6

    Angle Bases

    Bases where defenders can see and shoot attackers but attackers cannot see defenders.

  7. 7

    Maze Bases

    Bases with multiple turns to increase total distance. Up to 3 turns allowed but distance must not be unreasonably long.

  8. 8

    Flying / Floating Bases

    Bases that are basically ladders or stairways up to the sky with a base on top, or connected to the top of a building extending off the edge.

  9. 9

    Tiering Bases

    Multi-floor bases, ladder bases, or bases that increase defensive challenge unfairly for raiders by going up or down. Shooting windows are no longer included by popular vote.

Mega Bases

  1. 1

    Mega bases take up the equivalent of 2+ buildings

  2. 2

    Mega bases cannot be made unless you have 5+ people who are obviously basing there

    They should have their printers, ticket generators, drug labs, or bitcoin miners inside the base.

  3. 3

    Mega bases must be approved before construction begins and upon completion

    They must follow all building rules.

  4. 4

    Members of a mega base are all subject to each other's actions inside the base

    For example, everyone can be warned for fail base.

  5. 5

    Exceptions can be made

    For example, a smallish 'combined' base where 2 bases were nicely connected by 3 people.

Clan/Group Rules

  1. 1

    You need to be part of the bad to be able to capture/defend flags.

  2. 2

    You cannot go back to the same area of the flag you died at as it would be NLR.

  3. 3

    Allies can help each other while capturing the flag but they need to advert Friend Defense Before so.

  4. 4

    It is KOS if someone is in the zone of your captured flag.

  5. 5

    When at 'WAR' with another gang you can KOS at all times.

  6. 6

    You are not allowed to build on top of gang flags.

  7. 7

    Gang Printers are illegal but only legal if they are in the Bank Vault.

    Don't set your Gang information to anything that would racist, homophobic, sexist etc. eg: (gangs names, ranks or pfp)

    You can kill people who are within the red zone only if you have captured this flag / or are attempting to capture the flag.

  11. 11

    You must be within the red capture zone to capture/defend the flag.

  12. 12

    You must wait 3 minutes before capturing another red zone flag once you have either captured/died at another.

    The above cooldown doesn’t apply to a flag that is being captured that is yours (unless you already died there NLR applies)
